We invite you to sit and talk about a Buddhist book you’ve read. \nSensei Robert will lead the January 21\, 2018 library book discussion. We will talk about the book “Our Appointment with Life” by Thich Nhat Hanh. Specifically looking at sections relating to “Putting the Teachings of the Buddha into Practice”. You don’t need to have read the book to join the discussion. \nJames’ book recommendations: \n\nShin Buddhism – Bits of Rubble Turn into Gold – Taitetsu Unno\nA Life of Awakening – The Heart of the Shin Buddhist Path – Takamaro Shigaraki\n\nA membership is $20.00 and books can be borrowed for a one month period. \n
