DESCRIPTION:Walk with Me \nA Film about the Life and Teachings of Thich Nhat Hanh \n  \nFilm showing at the Calgary Buddhist Temple \n658 1 Ave NE\, Calgary (Bridgeland off Edmonton Trail) \nThursday Nov 8th 2018\, 630pm start \nDoors open at 6pm \nSpace is limited to 125 people \n  \n. \n  \nThe Calgary Buddhist Temple is pleased to be partnering with Calgary’s own Thich Nhat Hanh Sangha\, ‘Wild Rose Sangha’\, to present a showing of the film ‘Walk with Me’: http://walkwithmefilm.com/ \n  \nThich Nhat Hanh is a world-renowned teacher of Mindfulness from Vietnam. \nExiled for his peace efforts from his home country\, he has lived in France for many years. Those peace efforts earned him a Noble Peace Prize nomination from Martin Luther King Jr before his own untimely death. \n  \nThis is a major theatrical release film and we are the only licensed presenters in the Calgary area. \nIt speaks about Mindfulness and the Teachings of Thich Nhat Hanh\, who is now 92 years old and suffers the effects of a stroke several years ago. Narrated by Benedict Cumberbatch. \n  \nFor our showing\, a Teacher Chan Huy from the TNH Tradition in Montreal will lead a teaching beginning at 6:30pm\, then the showing of the film. \n  \nCost is free\, but if you are able to spare some dana to offset the license fee of $500USD\, this would be very helpful ($5 each? thank you!) \n  \nPlease bring your friends\, this is a public Film presentation. \n  \n
