Sangha Engagement
The Calgary Buddhist Temple Sangha Engagement is actively involved in hosting workshops, presentations, and events to promote social interaction, learning, and sharing. “Sangha Engagement” is pleased to provide a variety of in-person activities with the intention to keep people engaged and build a sense of “community” or Sangha.
With the temporary temple closure, the Sangha Engagement team is able to confirm Community Outreach activities but the other 2026 events and activities are tentative so stay-tuned! In the meantime, if you have any suggestions or ideas you’d like to see our sangha/community do or hold in 2026, please feel free to email calgarytemplesangha@gmail.com

Community Outreach – LUNCH SERVICE. Volunteers must be 18+ to participate. We leave after service from the Temple around 11:15am and walk over to the Drop-In Centre together or you can meet us there at 11:30am. We ask people to register in advance to ensure we have the requested number of volunteers. |
| IKEBANA-INSPIRED MOTHER’S DAY ARRANGEMENT |

Sangha Engagement is hoping to host an ikebana-inspired flower arrangement workshop for your mother or for someone who deserves your thanks. A Dharma Time version for children would be $20/each. Adult one is planned on the same day with a registration fee of $30/person. Space will be limited.
