On Sunday April 27, we will be having our Annual Spring Clean Up at the temple. Sensei is away so we’ll gather and do some meditative temple cleaning together. Please join us!
We are looking for volunteers to assist as many hands make light work. This is an excellent time for our younger members to contribute valuable volunteer time. Any time you can contribute is much appreciated.
Refreshments and snacks will be served.
Review the available job slots when you SIGNUP.
Thank you!
Our first fundraising event of 2025 will be on Saturday, May 3rd from 8:30am-12:30pm at the Temple.
Please join us for a morning of laughter, stories and dumpling folding at our annual gyoza making event. Together, we finely chop and create delicious gyoza to sell and raise funds for the Temple. We are looking for people who are able to do the chopping and the folding, so manual dexterity helps.
We guarantee community, busy hands and Timbits, as well as our gratitude.
Please SIGNUP today to help with this temple fundraiser!

According to our tradition, the historical Buddha, Sakyamuni, was born in Lumbini Garden in Nepal on April 8, 566 B.C. He was born the son of King Suddohana and Queen Maya. There are many flowery descriptions of the scene at his birth, including celestial birds singing beautiful songs, beautiful flowers, and a sweet gentle rain bathing the baby Buddha. We will recognize Hanamatsuri on Sunday, April 6 along with the monthly Shotsuki/memorial service for those who passed in the month of April. Everyone is welcome.
There will be a meal after service in celebration of Buddha’s birth and the Hanamatsuri toban group would like to invite you to contribute by volunteering to bring something – please visit SIGNUP.
