Don’t forget that the ladies of the Temple are starting off 2020 by hosting a Workshop on Yaki Manju on Sunday, Jan 26 beginning at 11:30am.
The workshop will be held after service and after a short update meeting regarding the JSBTC Women’s Federation (WF) which is our national organization.
This workshop is open to EVERYONE (men, women, and families). There is a nominal fee of $5/person and children (12 and under) are free. Come and enjoy the company of the sangha as we learn together!
PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED so we know how many people to expect and since space is limited.
There will also be a Cooking/Food Workshop – Mochi Making (open to everyone) scheduled for Sunday, Feb 23 and on Sunday, Mar 8, there will be a workshop called Getting to the Bottom of It – Pelvic Floor Dysfunction in Women. Again, pre-registration is required.
It is your involvement and participation that will make these successful!
Is it too late to sign up for the Manju class?
Glad you came!
Hi Susan,
Cheryll and I unfortunately won’t be able to attend the February 23 mochi making class. We’re going to be in Toronto visiting with Cheryll mom on that day. I tried to edit our response on signup genius, but somehow couldn’t access it.
Thank-you for organizing these events. We’ve enjoyed the ones we’ve attended and look forward to attending future events.
In Gassho,
Doug and Cheryll Caldwell
Hi Doug,
NO problem. Signup did let me know you’d both withdrawn – I was disappointed but I understand. The mochi workshop is now full – yeah! It’s been fun organizing!
Gassho,
Susan
