The Calgary Buddhist Temple is putting on its annual dinner on Saturday, October 21, 2017 and we need your help. The dinner is our biggest fundraiser and we need volunteers to fill various positions to make this a success.
Generally volunteers will work the entire
(a ‘refuge’ is a safe place – every Buddhist takes ‘refuge’ in the Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha)
This Tuesday group is a small meditation- & awareness-focused Practice ‘circuit’ meant for people who have been exploring Buddhism but wish to improve in:
Meditation (25mins), Loving-Kindness,
Interested in Buddhism and how it can be a part of your daily life?
Then join us on Thursdays, 7:30 – 8:30 pm as the fundamentals of Buddhism will be introduced and discussed.
There will be 8 consecutive sessions beginning October 12 through November 30,
Our Temple will have two booths at the Calgary Japanese Festival “Omatsuri” (Hosted by Calgary Japanese Cultural Association).
