The Momiji Society and Japanese Medical Support Network in Canada are co-sponsors of an upcoming workshop on dementia and are offering a 3 hour dementia volunteer training in Calgary on Sunday, July 23! They are preferably targeting caregivers or volunteers for seniors programs. The temple has been asked to share this wonderful opportunity to anyone who might be interested in attending.

- If English speaking persons show interest in the workshop, we would welcome them because the lecturer will be Ms. Yuka Okada, Momiji support service director, geriatric nurse who can present both in Japanese and in English.
- We can provide a standard text book for free and show DVD with English subtitle.
- Workshop program was developed by Caravan-mate council in Tokyo and well-received in Japan.
