Event: Faith and Science: Awakening Compassion for the Future

Description: Dr. Miriam Hinostroza, Head of the Global Climate Action Unit of the UN Environment Program, will be giving a keynote speech about #7 of the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Affordable and Clean Energy. Following her talk, there will be panelists from different religious traditions (Catholicism, Islam, and Jodo Shinshu) to discuss the topic from their perspectives. It will be followed by a Q&A session.
This event is free and open to the public. Please share this information and the flyer with your temples as well as any other religious groups in your communities that might be interested in attending.
