Hana Matsuri means ‘flower festival’ and in Jodo Shinshu is celebrated as the Birthday of the Buddha.
Each sangha member attending will have an opportunity to bathe the Buddha statue in sweet tea and offer a flower.
There is a lunch afterwards, all are welcome!
