Keirokai – Gotanye Service

The Keirokai is a yearly event, an event honouring our members who are ‘Keiro’, that is, our senior, experienced Sangha members. Gotan-ye is the celebration of birth of Shinran Shonin, the founder of Jodo Shinshu Buddhism. Shinran Shonin was born on May 21, 1173. Gotan means birth and Ye means gathering.
