We’ll be providing lunch service at the Calgary Drop-In (DI) Centre. We leave after the Sunday service around 11:15am and walk over to the DI together or meet there at 11:30am.  Ten volunteers are required, and the minimum age is 16 years old. Signup details will be provided in the temple newsletter.

Learn and build confidence chanting with Robert Sensei. Chanting Practice is held every 2nd and 4th Sunday after service at 11:30 am in the Hondo (Main Hall).

Our scheduled book club meeting this week has been canceled. The book club will gather again on Thursday, May 9th at 7:00 pm to talk about chapter 4 “Buddhism in the Age of the Refugee” and chapter 5 “Principles for Engaged Shin Buddhism”
