Dharma Time for Kids

REMINDER: Our potluck picnic at St. Patrick’s Island Park is this day – Sunday, Sept 10. We will meet in the picnic area near the children’s playground any time after service. The closest parking area is on the zoo side. I will bring hotdogs, veggie dogs and buns to share – James has offered to bring a small bar-b-q for us. I hope to see some of you there. Fingers crossed that the weather cooperates for us. If it rains we will reschedule.
Everyone joins the first part of the service and then they will proceed to the upstairs classroom/ boardroom.
The goal for the new season is to host an activity for the kids every Sunday. Lessons will be approximately every-other week, and informal playtime/social time for the kids with games and puzzles will be on the other Sundays.
The website will be updated with more specific information as planning progresses.
*We are looking for volunteers to help with Dharma Time – both for short lessons (25 minutes) and for play/social time supervision. Please contact e.nagata@shaw.ca or at 403.651.4501 if you are able to help.
