Lecture by Rev. Akiko Rogers

Join us for a special dharma lecture taking place on Saturday, April 11 from 3:00pm to 4:00pm at the Calgary Buddhist Temple. We have the opportunity to listen to Rev. Akiko Rogers, who recently completed her master’s degree at Ryukoku University in Kyoto, as she brings with her a deep and heartfelt connection to the Dharma.

Rev. Rogers is a visiting minister from California who will be speaking at the Buddhist Temple of Southern AB (BTSA) in Lethbridge for their Hanamatsuri service on Sunday, April 12th. We are truly grateful that Rev. Roland Ikuta of BTSA has chosen to stop at the Calgary Buddhist Temple on Saturday to offer this one hour Dharma talk by Rev. Rogers.

We are honored to welcome Rev. Akiko Rogers who will be sharing a talk on the theme: “The Universality of Jodo Shinshu Buddhism.” This will be a wonderful opportunity to come together in person, listen to the Dharma, and reflect on its relevance in our daily lives.
