Jodo Shinshu Buddhist services have started in Victoria!
With the approval of the Bishop of the Jodo Shinshu Buddhist Temples of Canada (JSBTC) and sponsorship of the British Columbia Jodo Shinshu Buddhist Temples Federation BCJSBF), a series of services, in English, are being held in Victoria. These services are in recognition of special events in Jodo Shinshu Buddhism; in conjunction with each of these services, there will be a “Dharma” Sharing.
These services are open to those interested in Jodo Shinshu Buddhism; Jodo Shinshu Buddhism was first introduced to Canada in 1905. Presently, there are several temples in Canada with two of the largest in Vancouver and Richmond, B.C.
