Ho-onko Service
Hōonkō observes the memorial/passing of our founder Shinran Shonin (1173-1262) in Kyoto, Japan. In the word hōonkō; ‘hōon’ means “return of gratitude” and ‘ko’ means “to clarify the meaning of” or “gathering”‘.
